Week of September 3 to September 9

by ohernand on September 1, 2017

Norwich University is looking good now and it should look even better in a short amount of time. More finishing touches to several areas around campus have taken place and some areas have improved and advanced to great lengths.

  • Memorial Plaza is looking much better with several areas done pouring and several areas now waiting for grass to grab on to the ground. The last areas to be touched are now covered and waiting to be regenerated before they can open.
  • Memorial Wall will soon be looking better with the iconic granite in the new shape starting to get installed.
  • Ainsworth Hall has interiors almost done in the older section and framing and roofing soon to be completed in the newer section.
  • Mack Hall continues with pouring of foundations and footing walls and more pouring and structural elements are expected to be installed soon.

Please be aware that minor work might be developed in several areas of campus that might not be fenced off but will be properly signaled. Please avoid these areas as an accident would be the last thing Norwich University and the construction crew involved would like to see. Help us out by informing anyone else in the community about the work on campus and if you have any questions, comments or concerns don’t hesitate to contact us at wdam@norwich.edu and we will be happy to help.
